The number one book on my list is;

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss



This is the first book in "The Kingkiller Chronicle" series. It follows the story of Kvothe, a legendary figure known for his magical abilities and heroic deeds. The next book I'll be touching on is 

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin



I'm sure most of us have seen the movie adaptation of this great fantasy book but I assure you, reading the book is another roller-coaster ride. It's the first book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, this epic fantasy novel is set in the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos. It follows multiple characters from different noble families as they vie for control of the Iron Throne and navigate political intrigue, war, and magical threats. The book shows strong themes of power, loyalty, betrayal, and survival. Also, detailed and realistic political intrigue and complex character relationships.

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson



The first book in "The Stormlight Archive" series, it introduces the world of Roshar, where powerful storms shape the landscape and society. The story follows multiple characters, including Kaladin, a former soldier turned slave; Shallan, a scholar with a dangerous secret; and Dalinar, a highprince struggling to unite his fractured kingdom. The way of king show a complex and unique magic system involving stormlight and shardblades and themes of leadership, honor, and redemption. 

This next book I'll be discussing is close to the previous book as it was written by the same author.

The book was the first in the "Mistborn" series, set in a world where ash falls from the sky and mist dominates the night. 

A heist-style plot combined with epic fantasy elements.The story follows Vin, a street urchin who discovers she has powerful Allomantic abilities. She joins a group of rebels led by the charismatic Kelsier, who plans to overthrow the tyrannical Lord Ruler.

The book depicts an innovative and well-defined magic system based on ingesting metals and themes of rebellion, trust, and self-discovery.

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
